Drawing tools made for outside plant

Draw fiber, virtual fiber (dark-fiber leases and planned routes), and conduit directly on the map. Endpoints snap to poles, handholes, closures and cabinets within a tolerance you control, so cables terminate on structures instead of floating near them. Full undo/redo means an errant click never costs you a route.

Place any of 18 equipment types — handholes, poles, splice closures, FDHs, patch panels, cabinets, OLTs, ONTs and more — each with the attributes an OSP engineer actually records: mounting, enclosure rating, power source, depth or height, and port counts.

Topology validation, before bad data gets published

Every network database rots the same way: a cable that ends in mid-air, a zero-length segment from a double click, a duplicate route imported twice. EFL Telecom runs a network-wide topology validation that catches unterminated endpoints, zero-length segments and duplicate cables — and lets you flag planned extensions as stubs so a legitimate future route doesn't require fake equipment to pass.

Enforcement is a workspace setting: warn mode reports problems and publishes anyway; block mode refuses to publish until the network is clean. Your data standards, enforced by the software instead of a wiki page.

Edits that preserve connectivity

Move a splice closure and the cables spliced through it move with it. The map stays a true model of the physical plant rather than a drawing that merely resembles one — which is what makes downstream features like signal tracing and cut analysis trustworthy.

Published changesets with rollback

Publishing bundles your edits into a named changeset — "Phase 2 as-builts, Oak Street" — with every change recorded down to before/after values. If an import goes wrong or an edit lands on the wrong layer, one click rolls the whole changeset back: deleted features come back with their original IDs, modified features revert, created features are removed.

Is EFL Telecom desktop software?

No — it runs entirely in the browser. There is nothing to install, no GIS desktop licenses to manage, and your whole team works against the same live database.

What coordinate system does it use?

EPSG:4326 (WGS 84) with 7-decimal precision — roughly 1.1 cm at the equator, in line with RTK-grade field collection. Z values are preserved.

Can I enforce data quality rules on my team?

Yes. Topology enforcement is a workspace setting: in block mode, publishing is refused while hard errors (unterminated endpoints, zero-length or duplicate cables) exist.
